Kaspersky Internet Security 2020 is the latest edition of Kaspersky’s comprehensives ecurity suite, which includes antivirus, a firewall, browsing protection, antispam,exploit prevention, parental controls, an ad blocker and more.

Kaspersky is one of the most popular providers of home and business security solutions. The new versions of its various software packages will soon be available. This is an opportunity for Logitheque to present the improvements and evolutions to come for this 2020 vintage.

WHAT’S NEW FOR KASPERSKY PRODUCTS?

As far as new versions of Kaspersky products are concerned, we should not expect a revolution. The Russian publisher was mainly satisfied with improving the existing system by working on the bugs present in the previous version and on the stability of the software. Here is the list of the main improvements:

Added full support for the latest versions of Windows 10. In other words, Kaspersky products are now fully compatible with Windows 10 1803 (April 2018), Windows 10 1809 (October 2018) and Windows 10 1903 (May 2019)
Improved web protection performance, especially on Firefox and other browsers using the same engine.
Better protection against remote control programs with a new management feature in Kaspersky product settings.
Possibility to switch directly to Kaspersky Free after the expiration of the license of a paid version of a product (Antivirus, Internet Security, Total Security…).
Improvement of the secure browser that automatically retrieves the user’s preferences from his main browser.
Better protection of the webcam
Arrival of the double-factor authentication for the connection to the My Kaspersky account
End-to-end encryption of communications between different Kaspersky products and servers
Slight graphical redesign of the menus

If you read us regularly, you know that cybercriminals are taking advantage of the popularity of some programs to kill more people. With its new products,Kaspersky is attempting to address this scourge by strengthening protection against the exploitation of vulnerabilities in popular software, including Microsoft Office.

Finally, the Russian publisher promises to optimize the use of machine resources for faster solutions that have even less impact on device performance.

RELEASE DATE OF NEW KASPERSKY PRODUCTS

Kaspersky 2020 products are not yet available in France in their final version. However, the publisher offers Technical Previews for each of the products. These are pre-versions of tests to discover all the new features and improvements listed above.
